Media Monitoring Is About To Enter The Streaming Age

In this new video from TVREV’s Thought Leaders Circle, CCR Media executives explain what media monitoring is, why it matters to advertisers, networks and streaming services.

Media monitoring, for the uninitiated, is more or less what it sounds like. So when ACR vendors say they capture pixels from the screen and then match them to “the database” to determine what the viewer is watching — CCR is the database they are referring to.

They track viewing on linear channels in every DMA and they’re about to expand their offering to include streaming. They work with just about every big player out there, hence the moniker “the gold standard of media monitoring.”

CCR Media will be at the Stream TV Show in Denver this week, showing off live demos and explaining how they’ve custom tailored solutions for some of the biggest names in the business.

If you’re at the Stream TV Show, check them out. If not, definitely give them a shout for a virtual demo.
