TV Program Rankings: ‘America’s Newsroom’ Beats NBA

Welcome to our weekly snapshot of TV by the numbers, highlighting the most-watched shows and networks for October 28 through November 3, with insights from Inscape, the currency-grade smart TV ACR data provider and data technology division of Vizio. Data is linear, live TV only and includes all episode types (new and reruns). Rankings are by percent share duration (i.e., time spent watching).

NFL and college football continue to dominate the ranking, although both saw decreased viewership shares compared to the previous week. The 2024 World Series remains in third place, while America’s Newsroom jumps from No. 12 to No. 4 week-over-week with 0.79% of all minutes watched.

Some additional highlights from the week’s top programming:

  • The NBA sinks from fourth to seventh place week-over-week, capturing a 0.71% viewership share.

  • Aside from America’s Newsroom, a few other Fox News programs climb the ranking with increased watch-time vs. the previous week: Fox & Friends (from No. 10 to No. 8), America Reports (from No. 14 to No. 11), The Ingraham Angle (from No. 20 to No. 19) and Special Report With Bret Baier (from No. 31 to No. 25).

  • Elsewhere in news, CNN News Central rises from No. 25 to No. 23, with 0.42% of watch-time.

  • The OT was a week-over-week ranking newcomer, landing at No. 16 with a 0.51% viewership share.

Thanks largely to the World Series and football, Fox takes first place on the TV network ranking — check it out on The Measure.
