TVREV Co-Founder and Lead Analyst Alan Wolk was on Cheddar TV last night talking with host J.D. Durkin about the future of sports betting on streaming TV as companies like Disney, DAZN and FuboTV dip their toes into the sports betting waters.

WOLK: When you are able to be at home with your 88-inch TV and see the game in ultra HD, you really need to give people a reason to come to the stadium. So things like betting—although you can do that at home, it’s sort of more fun to do that in person. That’s why stadiums are investing really heavily in wifi and in-stadium events and in-stadium video. They need to create something that’s going to make it worthwhile for the fan to actually get out of the house and go to the stadium.
