Cue the Applause! These ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Performers Have Sparked the Most Congrats So Far

Now in its 25th season, Dancing With the Stars on ABC is one of the unstoppable powerhouses of competitive/reality TV. So far this season, there have been a total of 100,305 Emotional Reactions (ERs) on social media about the episodes according to Canvs, the emotion measurement company. (Canvs measures ERs across all TV and drops them into different buckets to help networks, showrunners and advertisers make sense of the emotional appeal of different programming.)Obviously people watch DWTS for the stars themselves (although the judges do spark their fair share of buzz), and the show gets plenty of love ERs that are directed to fan-favorites. But since the show is also a competition, we wanted to see which performers have had the most-applauded (so to speak) performances thus far based on ERs with congratulatory messages — which, for the record, make up 6.4% of all ERs about the show.#1: Hands down the most-applauded contestant has been WWE wrestler and model Nikki Bella — although she and her partner Artem Chigvintsev were just eliminated this week during a surprise double elimination.#2: Second place goes to Sasha Pieterse, an actress on Pretty Little Liars who was partnered with Gleb Savchenko. They were also eliminated earlier this month.#3: And finally in third place, Jordan Fisher who is partnered with Lindsay Arnold. They are still in the running as of this writing.
