Social Video Leaderboard: Cocomelon and WWE Lead U.S. Media Creators on YouTube

We partnered with social video analytics company Tubular Labs to see which U.S. media creators are earning the most views on YouTube. The data below covers the full month of September.There are multiple kids-focused creators on the chart, including Cocomelon - Nursery Rhymes in first place with 1.7 billion YouTube video views. WWE takes second place with 1 billion views, followed by Fandango-owned Movieclips with 933 million. It’s also worth noting that two grown-up TV personalities made a big splash in September: No. 4 goes to Ellen DeGeneres (via the Ellen YouTube channel) with 315 million views, and Jimmy Fallon (via the The Tonight Show channel), which generated 260 million views putting it in sixth place. Ellen’s most-viewed clip uploaded in September was “Magician Shin Lim, 'AGT' Winner, Leaves Ellen Speechless” with 6.7 million views, 5.4 million of which occured in the first seven days according to Tubular’s V7 rating. And for Jimmy Fallon, it was “Kevin Hart Is Terrified of Robert Irwin's Animals” that scored high, racking up 16.5 million views, with a V7 rating of 11 million.
