Winter Olympics Focus: The Brands and Ads With the Biggest Reach So Far

With the 2018 Winter Olympics drawing to a close, TV[R]EV partnered with iSpot.tv, the TV ad measurement company with attention and conversion data from more than seven million smart TVs, to see which brands have generated the most impressions (and thus reach) so far during the Games.

Unsurprisingly, the myriad network, show and Games-related promos from NBC and its sister channels have created the most impressions so far, followed by Toyota, Chevrolet, Visa and Comcast/XFINITY.

When it comes to industries in general, auto makers, banks/credit cards, quick-serve restaurants and movie studios top the list:

Looking at individual commercials, Visa takes the gold with its “Finding New Finish Lines” spot featuring Mark McMorris and Mikaela Shiffrin; it’s racked up 741.9 million impressions as of this writing.

In second place: Intel’s True VR ad “2018 Winter Olympics: Experience the Front Row” with 672.8 million impressions.
