Multiple Weather Channel Programs Make Most-Watched TV Ranking

Welcome to our weekly snapshot of TV by the numbers, highlighting the most-watched shows and networks for October 7-13, with insights from Inscape, the currency-grade smart TV ACR data provider and data technology division of Vizio. Data is linear, live TV only and includes all episode types (new and reruns). Rankings are by percent share duration (i.e., time spent watching).

Just as we saw with Hurricane Helene mere weeks ago, Hurricane Milton prompted viewers to flip on The Weather Channel way more than normal. Not only did TWC land in the top 10 networks by watch-time, it owned three of the top 25 programs, including America’s Morning Headquarters at No. 8 with a 0.64% viewership share — making it more watched than NFL RedZone, CBS Mornings and Fox & Friends for the week. Meanwhile, Weather Unfiltered and Storm Center take No. 18 and No. 22, respectively.

A few more insights from the ranking:

  • The NFL continues to dominate overall, although its 6.87% viewership share was a decrease from the previous week’s 7.08%.

  • College football and the MLB playoffs retain second and third place, respectively, and both saw increased watch-time week-over-week.

  • The Voice, which recently kicked off season 26, jumps into the chart at No. 12 with a 0.49% viewership share across two blind audition episodes that aired Oct. 7 and Oct. 8.

  • Other week-over-week ranking newcomers include The OT (No. 19) and ABC World News Tonight With David Muir (No. 25).

NBC remains in first place on the TV network ranking — check it out on The Measure.
