See the Most Engaging Ads Right Now From Auto Makers, Movie Studios and More

How are TV commercials performing for various industries, from automotive to insurance to retail? Adweek, Variety and WardsAuto have some answers in three posts we’re sharing with you here; they each cite data from iSpot.tv, the real-time TV ad measurement company with attention analytics from 10 million smart TV screens.

In the car world, WardsAuto is out with its weekly report of the Most Engaging Auto Ads, with data through Sunday. Among the winners: Hyundai, which broke new ground with an ad produced in real time during the Super Bowl, and Audi, with a heartfelt spot about gender equality and equal pay. As to be expected, movie studios poured money into trailers that aired during the big game. In Variety’s latest Movie Commercial Tracker, which also features data through Sunday, Universal Pictures tops the list with $10.46 million in estimated spend on two airings of “The Fate of the Furious” trailer.
